Rosebud Tractor History

On October 1, 1990 Jim & Betty Estes bought Gerschefske Tractor in Rosebud, MO and with the help of son Matt they opened the dealership under the name Rosebud Tractor & Equipment Co.

In 1992 son John Estes joined the family business as sales manager after graduating from the University of Missouri.

Rosebud Tractor & Equipment has operated in Rosebud for the past 20 years, and on June 18, 2008 acquired an additional store in Linn, MO. 
RTE of Linn is located on Hwy 50 east of Linn.
In March of 2023 Rosebud Tractor bought Bockting Equipment in Morrison, MO. Bockting Equipment was originally owned by the Seifert family starting in the the late 1950s and taken over by the Bocking family after Marlow Seifert married Bill Bockting. RTE of Morrison is located on HWY 100 west of Hermann and East of Chamois.

All who participated in the building and the displaying of the float had a grand time!

Rosebud Tractor & Equipment participated in the Missouri Cattlemans Association meeting in Dec. 2012. Salespersons from both our locations attended the event and were very excited to meet so many people from various areas of Missouri!
